Josh is a cinematographer and producer based in New York. Through the lens, he has seen the landscapes and told the stories of people on almost every continent. Josh's cinematographic style utilizes influences from fine art, psychology, and music in service of the story, drawing the fullest emotional connection between the audience and image.
As a producer, he has facilitated countless commercial and narrative works.
Since earning his MFA at Boston University with a focus in cinematography, Josh has shot dozens of projects for all levels of distribution and co-founded two media production companies, Kairos and Black Bag. He was instrumental in bringing the two companies together on the short film, Miskatonic University, which recently won best short at the Nevermore Film Festival. During his time with these companies, he cut his teeth on the particular challenges of ultra-low budget narrative and commercial work.
